Legal Notice & Terms

2.1 Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the tawaa.app service, a SaaS (Software as a Service) ERP solution based on Odoo 19, provided by Tawaa Technologies. By signing up to tawaa.app, you accept these Terms without reservation.

2.2 Access to the service

The tawaa.app service is available to any natural or legal person with legal capacity and internet access. Access requires creating an account with valid credentials. The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential.

2.3 Plans and pricing

tawaa.app offers several subscription plans, whose features and prices are detailed on the Pricing page. Prices are shown in euros excluding tax. The applicable VAT is that in force at the time of billing under the applicable regulations.

• The 3-day free trial incurs no charge; the card is requested at sign-up and is only charged at the end of the trial, unless cancelled before then.
• After the trial, the subscription is billed monthly in advance.
• In the event of non-payment, access to the service is suspended after 5 days.
• Tawaa Technologies reserves the right to change prices with 30 days' notice.

2.4 Cancellation

The user may cancel their subscription anytime from their billing area or by contacting support at contact@tawaa.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no prorated refund.

2.5 User obligations

The user agrees to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Not use the service for unlawful purposes or purposes contrary to public order.
• Not attempt to access other users' data or compromise the security of the service.
• Not resell or sublicense access to the service to third parties.
• Comply with the tax and accounting laws applicable in their country of residence.

2.6 Data and ownership

The user remains the owner of all their data (customers, products, invoices, etc.) imported or created in tawaa.app. Tawaa Technologies undertakes not to exploit this data for commercial purposes. Upon cancellation, the user can export their data in CSV format for 30 days.

2.7 Service availability

Tawaa Technologies undertakes to maintain service availability of 99.5%, 99.7% and 99.9% depending on the plan, measured monthly, excluding scheduled maintenance announced in advance. If unavailability exceeds these thresholds, compensation in the form of credit may be granted.

2.8 Limitation of liability

tawaa.app is a management tool. Tawaa Technologies' liability is limited to providing the service under these Terms. Tawaa Technologies may in no event be held liable for the commercial, accounting or tax decisions made by the user on the basis of the data displayed in the application. Tawaa Technologies' liability is capped at the amount of subscriptions paid over the last 12 months.

2.9 Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, unless a mandatory legal provision applicable to consumers provides otherwise.

Tawaa Technologies is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act.

3.1 Data collected

We collect the following data:

• Registration data: name, email, company name, business sector.
• Payment data: processed directly by Stripe — we do not store any card number.
• Usage data: connection logs, pages viewed, errors (anonymized).
• Business data: customers, products, invoices and any data you enter in the application — this data belongs to you.

3.2 Purposes of processing

• Providing and improving the service.
• Billing and subscription management.
• Customer support and service-related communication.
• Compliance with our legal obligations.

3.3 Hosting and security

All your data is hosted on Amazon Web Services, us-east-1 region (Northern Virginia, USA) and protected by the following measures:
• Encryption at rest: AES-256 (EBS volumes + S3)
• Encryption in transit: TLS 1.2+
• Automatic daily backups, 30-day retention (AWS Backup)
• Access restricted to members of our technical team only
• EU → US transfers covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and AWS SCCs

3.4 Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data.
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Right to portability: receive your data in a structured format (CSV).
• Right to object: object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tawaa.app. We will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

3.5 Sub-processors

We use the following sub-processors, all GDPR-compliant:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — infrastructure hosting (us-east-1, USA) · covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and SCCs
• Stripe Inc. — online payment (USA) · covered by the SCCs and the Stripe DPA
• Google LLC — audience measurement via Google Analytics 4 / Tag Manager (USA) · covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework

4.1 Analytics cookies (subject to consent)

The tawaa.app marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to measure audience and improve the user experience. These cookies are only placed after your explicit agreement via the consent banner. You can accept or decline at any time.

• Provider: Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irlande
• Purpose: anonymized audience measurement (pages visited, duration, traffic source)
• Choice storage duration: 6 months (in line with CNIL recommendations)
• Transfer outside the EU: possible to the USA — governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses

4.2 Essential cookies (no consent required)

A technical cookie (tawaa_consent) is stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your consent choice. It contains no personal data and expires after 6 months.

4.3 Odoo application cookies

The app.tawaa.app application (Odoo) uses session cookies to keep you logged in. These cookies are essential to the application's operation and cannot be disabled. They expire when you close your browser or after 24 hours.

4.4 Managing and withdrawing consent

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking on Manage cookies or through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect how the site works.
